With the military boot having a strong presence last Winter, the military theme is doing equally as well, utilised last season and going forward to the next in various forms . This SS12 it is taking its shape as lightweight but durable materials and directly borrowing the trusty old military camouflage.
As with most things in fashion (if not all), it’s all about interpretation. Personally I prefer the more subtle take of a camo with a twist than the outright raw traditional blur of colours it used to offer. Take a look at my light hearted and not so literal version of a 21st century camouflage.

Just like most men growing up in England, I was surrounded by football from a young age. Friends and family arguing which team will win the local derby, on TV and in the papers – football football football. At the beginning of my career I worked with the organisation that fronts the greatest football organisation in the world, the English FA. A fantastic opportunity to do astro turf boots, casual trainers, point of sale and designing baby padders! I really enjoyed creating such a diverse array of products. Although a lot of fun, these types of projects are always challenging (as anyone that has worked with a hugely franchised company will tell you) and therefore, a very rewarding experience in my footwear life time.
