They also describe the shoe as featuring the unique 2 piece canvas upper construction. The last’s profile has been slightly increased to accommodate the slightly larger foxing tape (which is in line with more traditional vulcanised styles, especially those from Supra, eg – Vaider). This “new” style is available from Supra in 12 colours at 40 quid a pair. The A-symmetric pattern really does freshen it up and justify this revamp. Predicted by the Pantone Colour Team, the colour for 2012 is… Tangerine Tango! Ok, so I am not to mad on the colour as it stands on a TCX square (17-1463TCX)… but none the less, it is a bright, eye catching colour that feels warm and welcoming. Rich as a base and striking as a highlight, it will intrigue and challenge designers alike. For the slightly more feint of heart, expect to see small pops in the upper with the main burst hidden out of sight when worn and standing, ie, bright satin tangerine linings and steps in the heels of formal footwear bursting with a sheet of orange… I mean tangerine… And for those that embrace the colour of the year, we can expect bold, covered in colour units, complimenting the leather of a mens shoe welt.
